Poland is known to be the only EU member country not to fall into recession in 2009. It is the 6th largest economy in Europe, currently doing better than most of its EU neighbors. What are the sources of Poland’s success? What drives Poland’s economy forward? What are the opportunities for future Polish-American economic relations?
Polish American Chamber of Commerce Pacific Northwest proudly hosts Dr. Henryka Bochniarz in Seattle for a presentation and breakfast networking meeting. This is a rare opportunity to hear from a renowned figure in economic and social life in Poland. Dr. Bochniarz is the President of Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan, the largest organization of private employers in Poland. She also serves as Vice President of BUSINESSEUROPE, the leading employers’ organization in Europe, and as President of Boeing Central & Eastern Europe. She is widely recognized across the European Union for her leadership, independent thinking, and entrepreneurship.
