Adam Zagajewski,
a professor of creative writing at the University of Houston, is a
leading Polish poet of his generation and a recipient of the 2004
Neustadt International Prize for Literature.
Edward Hirsch, an
acclaimed American poet, is the current president of the John Simon
Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.
